In honor of all the hard work, hopes and dreams that have been “showered” on our future Children’s Center, we will be providing a number of opportunities during the month of April to bless new parents being served by one of Saint John’s local mission partners – LifeLine Pregnancy Center.

Beginning Easter Sunday, we will begin a month-long campaign to collect donations of baby clothes, diapers and supplies for LifeLine’s free “boutique.” LifeLine’s free boutique provides expectant parents with clothes, car seats, diaper bags and diapers when they are nearing their due dates. There is a wishlist available for the items needed, and you can bring them in anytime during the month of April. You can also access the wishlist electronically here. The baby bottles for monetary donations will also be available for pick-up. 

Later in the month, we will be creating diaper wreaths at a workshop on Sunday, April 19th, and collaborating with our Knit and Crochet group on April 8th to make baby blankets and hats. Check out those events for more information.

No prior experience needed…we will teach you as we also enjoy some afternoon mocktails and snacks.
