Dress a Girl Around the World is an international non-profit organization that is affiliated with Hope for Women International.  Join Saint John’s members as well as members from other local congregations to cut fabric, serge edges, and sew simple sundress and peasant dresses for girls sizes 4-14.

Our dresses are primarily sent to Third World countries where the girls grow up in poverty and have probably never had a brand-new dress of their own. We include notes about Jesus’ love for them and His desire for them to be strong and confident children of the God who loves them. The Dress a Girl label sewn on each dress is a sign to human traffickers that the girl wearing that dress is part of a protected group and should be left alone.
